Email: hello@dankylabs.com
2. Hosting and Server Logs
The website is hosted using Vercel. When you access the site, technical data may be processed to deliver and secure it, including your IP address, request time, requested URL, referrer, browser, operating system, and response status. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Email Updates
Where an email signup is offered in a specific gallery experience, we process the email address you submit to send the requested DankyLabs updates. Newsletter subscriptions are managed through Klaviyo. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time using an unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
4. Local Storage
The site uses browser local storage for functional preferences such as light or dark mode and, within the interactive gallery, local technical settings. These values stay on your device unless you clear them. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this website.
5. Service Providers and Transfers
Depending on the feature used, data may be processed by:
- Vercel, for website hosting and infrastructure
- Klaviyo, for requested email communications
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, transfers are based on an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal obligations, or to establish and defend legal claims. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
7. Your Rights
Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
8. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for our Berlin establishment is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
9. Security and Updates
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. We may update this policy when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
Privacy requests can be sent to hello@dankylabs.com.
